Founded during the Belle Époque, Savini quickly became Milan’s most elegant venue, attracting a distinguished clientele of prominent figures, literary giants, and leading journalists.

Regular patrons included renowned names such as Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Eleonora Duse, Gabriele D’Annunzio, and Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, who famously presented the Futurist Manifesto at Savini.

Other notable guests included Maria Callas, Luchino Visconti, Charlie Chaplin, Prince Ranieri and Grace of Monaco, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Carla Fracci, Henry Ford, Peppino de Filippo, and the legendary Antonio De Curtis, better known as Totò.
